GM's full-size pickups (Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra) are a class act in this highly competitive arena, winning a 5Best Trucks award and the last comparison test that Car and Driver ran. It's hard to beat their all-around excellence and utility, although the four-speed automatic transmission nows feels dated.
